“Doubtless” by Sys Machine Is Out Now!!!
The new single “Doubtless” from Sys Machine is officially live and available now on all major platforms.
Sys Machine is the electronic rock side project of Derision Cult, also released through Glitchmode Recordings. Where Derision Cult leans into the heavier, industrial end of the spectrum, Sys Machine explores a more atmospheric, melodic, and emotionally driven space — still dark, still cinematic, but built around synths, textures, and songcraft rather than brute force.
“Doubtless” is a song about self-determination and clarity in the face of noise, slogans, and outside pressure. It reflects the moment when you stop waiting for permission, stop outsourcing your agency, and trust your own direction — even when the world keeps offering easy answers and false certainty.
Sonically, the track draws inspiration from early-’90s electronic and alternative pioneers. There’s a clear nod to the mood and restraint of Depeche Mode’s more introspective era, blended with the emotional sweep and melodic sensibility of Peter Gabriel, filtered through a modern production lens. The result is something familiar but not retro — a cold-wave pulse with warmth underneath, and a sense of tension that never fully resolves.

This release marks the first glimpse into the upcoming Sys Machine album Parts Unknown, and a parallel chapter in the broader Derision Cult universe — one focused less on confrontation and more on atmosphere, reflection, and forward motion.
